The shelves aren't stacked: they are staggered at different heights, hung from thin black steel rods climbing the wall. From across the room it reads more like a mobile than like storage.

Each board is short and takes little — a vase, a frame propped up, three books lying flat. This is a piece for showing, not for storing.

Ninety-nine centimetres wide by 62 tall: it takes a wide, low stretch of wall, the kind above a sideboard or a sofa.

The shelves are paulownia with a natural finish — a very light wood with a pale grain — and the frame is matte black steel. The contrast between the two is the design.

Care: wipe the wood with a dry cloth and the steel with a slightly damp one. Avoid abrasive products.
