Twenty-one centimetres — the medium plate in the Comporta line. Chip-resistant stoneware, handmade in Portugal, with a crazed finish that leaves a web of fine lines on the surface. The intensity of the crazing varies from piece to piece and is part of the decoration, not wear and tear.

About the shade: this is a handmade piece with a reactive glaze. The shade and texture vary slightly from piece to piece, and the one you receive may not be identical to the one in the photo. This is not a defect: it is what distinguishes a handmade piece from an industrial one.

Care: wash and dry thoroughly before first use. Avoid thermal shock — heat and cool gradually, and always place hot items on a trivet.
