Thirty-five centimetres of depth is what defines a console table: it occupies wall space without blocking passage. In an entrance hall or corridor, it stands against the wall, allowing people with bags to easily walk around it.

Eighty-one centimetres high is counter height — you can set down your bag and keys upon arriving, without lowering your arm. A one-metre top can hold a lamp at one end and a basket at the other.

Oak veneer on MDF: it's real wood on the surface, with the grain visible, over a body that won't warp or crack like solid wood with temperature changes.

It also serves as a narrow sideboard in a living room, or as a desk against the wall in a bedroom.

Care: clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products and prolonged moisture on the veneer.
