The material is the product. Papier-mâché is not plastic imitating stone or painted ceramic: it is hand-pressed paper, and as a result, the surface has irregularities and a matte opacity that no industrial finish can achieve.

Hence, the stone-grey tone looks like concrete, but is light to the touch. It is a large piece — almost half a metre high by 36 cm in diameter — that weighs little and can be moved with one hand.

It suits an entrance console, a sideboard, or a corner table. It needs space around it: when placed next to other objects, it loses its impact.

Care: clean only with a dry cloth. Do not get wet — papier-mâché does not recover from moisture.
